Consumer Health Data Policy

Effective August 29, 2026 · Private beta

This policy supplements the MenuBrief Privacy Policy. Some laws may treat dietary protocols, allergy interests, app activity, or location associated with health-related activity as consumer health data.

Data and sources

Purposes

We process this information to provide requested restaurant and protocol features, remember on-device preferences, secure and diagnose the Service, comply with law, and respond to requests. We do not use protocol selections or precise location for targeted advertising.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell consumer health data. Limited information may be processed by infrastructure providers strictly as needed for hosting, map delivery, diagnostics, operating-system functions, security, or an external service you choose to open. The live privacy policy will identify production providers before MenuBrief expands beyond private beta.

Your choices and rights

You can deny or withdraw location permission, browse another area manually, change protocols, clear on-device data, or uninstall the app. Depending on where you live, you may request access, deletion, withdrawal of consent, information about collection or sharing, or appeal a denied request. Email hello@menubrief.com. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a right.

Retention and changes

On-device information remains until cleared or uninstalled. Provider technical records follow configured retention periods. We will update this policy before materially changing these practices and obtain consent when required.
